BASICS FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER

Instructor: Linda Fulmer, M.Ed.

ACTG 101
Introductory Level
3 CEUs
Tuition: $ 65.00

Course Synopsis: Legal, accounting and business matters can be intimidating, but they don’t have to be. The more you know about the accounting and tax aspects of your small business, the more successful you will be.

This course will introduce you to the concepts of standard bookkeeping practices. We'll discuss different forms that a business can take, and the pros and cons of each. We’ll define common bookkeeping terms, give examples of basic bookkeeping forms and records, and explain how to establish a system that will work easily within your own business. All this will be melded into an understanding of income tax laws, and how good bookkeeping practices are necessary to ensure compliance with federal tax codes. This course is a good compliment to "The Business End of a Private Investigation Agency".
